NP: Maserati, The Language of Cities (MP3)
I'm in that weird spot where there's enough going on in my life to warrant even mutliple entries in a day, except for that fact that I'm busy with those things that I mentioned that are going on in my life.
Today I woke up with no e-mail and no coffee filters. Fortunately, the day got better from there. Conversations with two different recruiters yielded one job interview next week that seems pretty serious, and then I picked up a two-week freelance project and a voiceover audition for good measure. This coming on the heels of an interview on Tuesday with a firm that arranged contract research work, and the first of what will be several turns hosting the Vaughan's open mike while Tony is playing softball.
I've gotten overly optimistic about some opportunities in the past, but it looks like things are really heating up this time. At the very least, I'll be able to get by for another two to four months without worrying too much.
Now, with any luck, I'll actually get to see my little sister while she's in town. Other people have been and will be seen during the week, to the degree that I'm optimistic about a whole honkin' bunch of things.
We'll see how long that lasts.
Hey, and a couple of Nitrous Foxide gigs thrown into the mix! Rock!
I had some random news-related comments cross my mind at some point, but have since forgotten them. I also forgot to close my gas tank after filling up last night in Naperville, but fortunately, the screw cap stayed attached to the little flippy doo-dad. That's a technical term.

*blink* And this is why I love you, Coz.
