NP: EXO, Say Hello To The Master Siege Control (CD)
Starting to get used to the new specs, now that I had them adjusted to they don't actually press on the bridge of my nose. I think it was affecting my equilibrium, which is a really sorry excuse for how out of it I feel. The frames are much wider than my last pair, which is causing some distress on the edges of my visual field. Although, with the clip-on shades, I can actually see behind me, like a side-view mirror.
I tried the "post in the morning before work" model this morning, but it failed rather spectacularly. Coffee is very important to this process, particularly after Tributosaurus closed out with 20 or so horns playing Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk" shortly after midnight last night. So it's looking like lunchtime is the winning timeslot for content, for now. In case you're wondering, today's features a chicken wrap from Delicatezza. You probably weren't wondering.
Elsewhere in the blogosphere, my current infatuation with all things Wonkette uncovered the fact that I actually went to college with editor/writer/pottymouth Ana Marie Cox. I'm still trying to figure out if we had ever crossed paths, but she probably thinks I'm some kind of stalker now, so I'm not expecting to get very far with my investigation. She said she wrote for the University of Chicago newspaper, which triggered a tiny fragment of a memory that she may have actually slagged my band, Step Zero, at the time. I don't know exactly why I think that.
The only thing sadder with my being so fixated on this right now is that I don't know a single person who cares. It's a funny site, people!
I want to go see Ozomatli tonight, but it's going to take a massive rally to pull that one off.
