NP: NBA Shootaround (TV)

Thanks to Weeza for bringing this to my attention. I have a hunch "David Fair" is really Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore. Or maybe Chris Holmes. Either one would explain a lot.

I could maybe make the same charge that this is by someone who's lyrics -- or prose, for that matter -- I similarly don't get, but it's just too weird.

By just after noon today, I had seen two people I know intentionally, and another four unintentionally, making it one of those days when I don't feel like I have to explain why I like living here so much.

Got the pep talk from my boss yesterday that I feel I needed. Given the circumstances, there's no good reason to believe this acquisition will go like the last one I was involved with. It's just that the one data point carries a lot of emotional weight, compounded daily over the last two years. Of course, everybody will spin it as a positive on announcement day, but it got us a happy hour or three after work yesterday, so why not?
