NP: Incubus, A Crow Left Of The Murder (CD)
It's a multi-purpose subject title! I was going to write earlier in the weekend about how annoyed I am with On The Route bicycles, after I asked them to check both my tire tread and my back wheel alignment when I had them fix a flat tire. They alleged both were fine, and the new tube blew out before I even made it home from the shop. Took it to Kozy's, and was told the tire probably blew because the tread was so worn out you could see through it. And the tire needed to be trued. On The Route, you're off the list. May you Google yourselves and learn of my wrath, although I'll probably be paying you a visit and demanding some compensation soon.
Then, this morning, I got knocked off the route on the way to work, after some jackass crashed his semi into an El stop on my line. Don't know if the truck was too tall or what. 90 minutes later, I'm actually at my desk, and trying vainly not to be really annoyed at the inconvenience. I'm not blaming CTA -- they couldn't really have done more than they did -- but I already have enough trouble getting to work on time. I don't need help.
Of course, today's the day my CD player's batteries run out. Cue the Boomtown Rats...
