The other mitigating factor yesterday was that I opted not to ride my newly-back-in-service bike to work, because the morning news all but assured me it was going to rain. Of course, it didn't.
Today, they made no mention of rain, but one look outside as I was getting ready to go made me think twice. I hope these guys don't get paid much.
