Something Fishy in Canada

NP: Scissor Sisters

No, this isn't about the massive post-election spike in traffic to Canadian immigration websites. It's about this website. Besides, I don't think the answer is moving to Canada. The answer is moving to Ohio and Florida. A friend gave me an interesting perspective on this, but this really isn't a political post.

Anyway, I'm not sure what to make of these new comments popping up across the site. They're all from the same IP address, somewhere in Canada, they all have fairly brief and cryptic -- but fairly harmless-looking -- messages, and they all "link" to URLs that don't exist. They're sprayed all over in terms of what posts they hit, which is typical comment spam behavior. In fact, everything about them looks like comment spam, but they don't seem to have any calls to action that would actually do anything bad.

If anybody has seen this behavior before, let me know what's going on and how I can fix it. Aside from upgrading to Movable Type 3, which will be happening eventually.
