Okay, so I think I've figured out ways to streamline a couple more bits on the site, including the gig calendar and the CD collection. The former is continually a pain in the butt, and the latter hasn't been touched in quite a while. Movable Type plug-ins, is there anything you can't do? Outside of making the underlying "order" of entries with regard to previous/next alphabetical, that is?

That said, I don't know exactly when everything will be in place. Maybe over the weekend, but I sorta doubt it. And while it might be possible to port the new, improved process for listing gigs to list.in.to.chicago, that seems like it would be considerably tougher to pull off. We'll see.

The downside is that anyone linking to individual pages on the site will have those links broken once everything switches over to shtml pages, but I don't expect that will affect too many people, since the index pages and search results drive most of the traffic.
