Stronger Curry

NP: Mos Def, The New Danger

Three in a row, with a chance for the first four-game winning streak in something like seven years on Monday. Last night wasn't pretty, but the Bulls led wire to wire, which is, I think, exactly what they needed to do.

As much as I ragged on him early, the Sun-Times picks up that he finally seems to be getting it:

He said the key is not thinking he has to score every time he touches the ball down low.

''I realize that I don't have the pressure to score,'' Curry said. ''Coach knows that I can go out there and put up numbers any night, but it seems it's more important to demand the attention of the other team and get other players involved. That's what I'm trying to do right now.''

On the one hand, the "I can go out there and put up numbers any night" is a little troubling, because he can't, but this is still a step in the right direction. Who knows, maybe next he'll figure out that he needs to box guys out to get rebounds. Then we might actually make it to the playoffs and win.
