Barry Oakley, Traffic Genius

NP: Mike Keneally Band, Dog

It never fails. Weekend driving in Chicago is always somewhat of an adventure, but even more so the first spring-like weekend of the year. And that doesn't go nearly far enough to describe the clusterfuck that is the six-way intersection on a day like this.

For the record, I don't believe we're done with winter just yet, as it still has to snow on a Cubs game. Of course, it stopped doing that about a year or two after I started saying it.

So navigating was fun earlier today. Barry to Western and back to Oakley (hence the title of the entry) sorta did the trick once I got west of Lincoln Avenue. Now I'm thinking my choice of workout location is going to have to take all this into effect, because North and Sheffield is going to be completely loony.
