Sing When We're Winning

NP: Queens of the Stone Age, Lullabies to Paralyze

From today's Sun-Times:

"I'm looking for a team where I can get meaningful minutes, a good contract and a chance to play for a winner. The Bulls have all those."

That's from the only veteran to make a positive contribution to the team in the post-Jordan, pre-Gordon era, Donyell Marshall. The first goes to Scott Skiles, the second, emphatically to GM John Paxson, and the third gets shared between them. This speaks directly to the most important part of this year's resurgence, and that is that for the first time in a long time, Chicago will be attractive to free agents in the offseason.

I meant to quote a blurb earlier in the week that citing the Bulls as one of the five most exciting teams in the NBA to watch. I think it was ESPN, but I can't find it on the site.

I'm still amazed at how the Bulls and the Illini have totally turned this into a basketball town again. It almost makes you forget about the emergency room waiting room that is the Cubs bullpen.
