Ending The Game The Right Way

NP: songs I'm playing this weekend

Sometimes, my couch-bound downtime pays off. Last night, I ended up watching game six of the Pacers-Pistons series and got to enjoy Reggie Miller's final NBA performance. By far, the best part of it was Pistons coach Larry Brown calling a timeout after the Pacers subbed the star with less than a minute to go so that Reggie would have more time to bask in the ovation from the Indianapolis crowd.

As an American soccer fan, eighteen years on one team is completely unfathomable, as it would require professional soccer to even exist for eighteen straight years in this country.

And six months to the day after the November brawl, even. That's downright spooky. Pistons-Heat should be a heck of a series.
