Eight Out Of Nine Ain't Bad

NP: Waltham, Waltham

For the first time in the nine years I've owned a car in Chicago, I neglected to put my new city sticker in my window on time, and now have a big, fat $120 ticket to show for it. I had the sticker, but it was sitting in the stack of mail that I typically only open every two or three weeks.

Needless to say, I went through the rest of my mail last night, just in case.

My landlord just waved his arms and said I could take it to such-and-such location and I wouldn't have to pay it, but I honestly have no idea what he was talking about. I will have to visit such-and-such location Friday afternoon, though, just in case.

And speaking of having the time to go through a few weeks of mail, I'm not sure if it's just having a slow night where I could commune with my couch, or if I'm getting more emotional distance from last week, but I'm feeling a bit more myself today. Because I know my emotional state is important to you. You're just going to have to deal with the fact that I don't have much to say about John Roberts.

Yet.
