Phone Fun

NP: Bob Mould, Body of Song

Okay, seeing as how I rag on my phone a lot over here, it's only fair that I say nice things about it when appropriate.

Most of the reason I bought the damn thing was so I could synchronize my contacts and my calendar, so I'll have them with me at all times without needing another device. Well, as it turns out, combining those functions lets you do some neat stuff, like setting your phone to automatically switch to the "meeting" profile, with the ringer turned off, when you calendar has you marked down as "busy."

Now if only I could snooze a reminder for more than five minutes, actually get decent reception, not have to reboot periodically and not have the phone sponaneously turn off and subsequently resist turning back on again, we'd be in business.
