The High Cost of Fuel

NP: Yes, 90125

I don't want to add to the panic of high gas prices and its ensuing debate, but the Dunkin Donuts across the street from the office has raised the price of a medium coffee twelve cents between yesterday and today.

Twelve cents! That's over thirty bucks a year that could have gone to something else. Like beer!

(I was going to say "to something else more worthwhile," but if you've seen me before about 10am, you know how worthwhile the morning coffee truly is.)

While I don't think this will force me to drink the crap we make in the kitchen, it's still somewhat disconcerting. I blame Iraq.
