Seeing The Future

NP: Muse, Absolution

Two different tech articles in today's San Francisco Chronicle both point to one of those transformative points down the road that we can't really see past, because we can't quite understand the implications. First, you've got your digital paper Then you've got your ubiquitous wireless broadband access.

I realize that steady diet of Wired magazine and cyberpunk novels causes me to get inordinately geeked on this sort of thing, but even with that caveat, I think that some downstream combination of these two technologies changes things in ways we can't even conceive of.

And that's really fucking cool.
