NP: Living Colour, Collideoscope
The four-day weekend seemed to be a somewhat extreme reaction to the hectic pace of my life, but now the week seems to be an extreme reaction to the peace and relative serenity of mostly sitting on my butt for four days.
Of course, I've noticed this odd sense of productivity when I'm totally driving myself into the ground, once I can actually drag my sorry ass into the shower and then to the places where coffee may be found in large quantities. It could be that I get so mentally exhausted that I can't be bothered to come up with lousy excuses for not doing things that I'm not crazy about. Like learning new tricks in Microsoft Access to update data sources for department-wide reporting. In case you were wondering why one wouldn't be crazy about these things.
Monday ended up running way later than I expected. Tuesday ran as late as Tuesday always runs, although it doesn't always have some guy telling Anto he sounds just like Bono, and could he get up on stage and tell some jokes?
Tonight it's HOB to see Soulfix open for Staind. Tomorrow is a Google party, where I'll ask whoever cares to listen if they can hook me up with quality EPL swag if they end as the new sponsor for Manchester United. Saturday is Diver's actual two-year anniversary, not to be confused with what I thought was going to be that occasion a few weeks ago. Friday night would be all about the sleeping if it didn't likely have to be all about the laundry and the renewed dedication to the gym.
Because I know my schedule is of great importance to you, dear reader. At least it's not a "what I had for breakfast" post, 'cause I swore I'd avoid those.
