NP: Bill Bruford's Earthworks, A Part, And Yet Apart
Have you ever left a job, but kept in touch with former co-workers? Did you ever hear stories of what was going on and think to yourself, "wow, I'm so glad I'm not there anymore"?
Do you think Ari Fleischer is doing that now?
Seriously, I caught a six-minute montage of Scott McClellan being thrown to the wolves again on Olbermann tonight -- this time for the 22 hours in which nobody considered the Vice President accidentally shooting someone to be newsworthy -- and I'm almost starting to feel sorry for the guy. Almost.
Of course, the title bar underneath said montage read "Shoot first, ask questions later," and was followed by an interview with the Washington Post's Dana Milbank wearing bright orange hunting gear. Have I gushed lately about Countdown?
As for Cheney, I think he has a long and prosperous career ahead of him in masonry, seeing as how good he is at stonewalling. It's practically second nature to him. The only other explanation is that this administration wants to make Jon Stewart's job that much easier now that he's got another kid.

Of course, The Right Wing Blogosphere is using this to distract from the Cheney incident, claiming it's yet another example of Liberally Biased Media:
