If It Evolves, It Leads

NP: Steve Vai, Flex-Able

I find it awfully interesting that The New York Times chose to lead with the fossil story today, seeing as how the article takes just five paragraphs before pointing out that this flies -- or maybe swims -- in the face of creationism and "intelligent" design. There seems to be an element of rubbing the right's nose in it that's unbecoming of the old gray lady. On the other hand, it's not like those who demonize the paper as left-wing propaganda can say it's any more liberal than they do already.
