NP: The Mars Volta, De-Loused In The Comatorium
The over/under on when my building supervisor calls me back so we can figure out how and when I can get back into my apartment, which I locked myself out of this morning, is 3pm. Until then, I'm going to be really twitchy, and not just because they were giving away free Monster energy drink outside the Merchandise Mart to capitalize on all the people out to watch the paralyzed Flying Wallendas guy try to cross the river on a tightrope.
Incidentally, I always default to calling Mario Wallenda's family act the "Falling Wallendas," but that was actually just a local rock band back in the 90s who apparently know their Chicago history. And whose drummer now plays with Styx.
