Trepidation

NP: John Cage, 4'33"

So I ended up buying System Mechanic yesterday after the hard sell by Zone Alarm's automatic update system. Apparently, my desktop machine is a bit of a mess, to the point where the software told me I had one keystroke logger present.

Now, I'm pretty good about not engaging in activities that might bring spyware onto my system. Heck, I ran SpyBot about a month ago with nothing malicious to report. So I'm a little skeptical, and also a little concerned, to say the least.

I left the box defragging the main hard drive this morning, so we'll see what kind of shape it's in when I return.
