An "Adequate Provincial Paper"

NP: Red Bulls vs. Rapids

Chicagoist documents the goings-on not related to Dusty Baker over at the Tribune, but the money quote is from Michael Kinsley in an op-ed. "Adequate provincial paper" is one of the more succinct descriptions I've seen of the Chicago broadsheet. I still always tell people that, if they ever complain to the paper about something, to mention that the real "national" papers that Kinsey cites do whatever it is -- and let's face it, it's usually soccer coverage -- better than they do.
