NP: Chelsea vs. Manchester United
It's been kind of hard to watch the Bulls this year, but the one thing I'm noticing, and that I'm totally digging, is how often Luol Deng leads the team in scoring. I'm not keeping count, but last night seems more the exception than the rule.
This kid is the real deal, and the more Chicago can get the ball in his hands, the more he'll get to the rim and help eliminate some of the scoring problems that have plagued the team so far this year.
With a young team like this, the question is always build versus buy, and while former Bull Steve Kerr may be leaning towards the latter, the Bulls certainly have the opportunity to do the former with the group they've assembled. It's still a bit too early to give up on a team that has struggled to find their defensive form early in each of the last three seasons.
Meanwhile, Tyson Chandler is both scoring and rebounding more for the Hornets than Ben Wallace is for the Bulls. Not that I wouldn't have made that same choice, I'm just sayin'.
