NP: Countdown with Keith Olbermann
So, despite the Bulls leading by at least twenty points throughout most of tonight's game, all the ESPN broadcast team seemed to be able to talk about was how Allen Iverson could get hot and get them back in it. I know the NBA is built around its superstars, and the notion of a roster stocked with so many very good players rather than one or two salary-cap busting megastars and a bunch of inexpensive journeymen and other scrubs is very difficult for anyone associated with the league to figure out, but at some point, the narrative becomes inoperative. And that point is probably still in the first half, at least when you rack up 69 points in that half.
