Yikes

NP: Suns vs. Bulls

Okay, I had been meaning to say something about how much better the Chicago Bulls radio broadcasts sound on the FM dial than they did on AM. But, true to fashion, I need a second data point to make it post-worthy. Tonight I got it.

High Definition television is not kind to former Bull "Stormin'" Norm Van Lier. Wow. That, or his usual makeup person is still on their holiday break.

Those "NFL in HD" commercials seem kind of funny when you see them, but there's definitely an element of truth there. I've seen some mention of how directors may be shooting differently for high-def if their subjects are closer to the Edward James Olmos side of the scale, and I believe it.
