Fit But Still Fat?

NP: Nets vs. Bulls

So my indoor soccer team was pretty shorthanded last night, meaning that once one of our guys had to leave with an injury in the first half, we had no substitutes. So other than a short spell before that injury, I played the entire match.

Other than just some general fatigue, and a little twinge in my hip, I feel fine today. No aches, no pains, no noticeable limp.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a good twenty, even thirty pounds heavier than I should be. But my body is holding up under pressure surprisingly well, and I guess all the cardio I've been doing in the gym is paying off. Now if I can get my metabolism cooking and/or find the discipline to eat better, we'll be in business.
