Short Memories

NP: Peeping Tom, Peeping Tom

Putting aside for a moment whether or not it's appropriate for a presidential candidate to communicate possible foreign policy via surf-rock, has anyone decrying McCain's song stylings pointed out that this particular nugget is actually thirty years old? We used to sing this in grade school around the time of the hostage crisis, believe it or not. I think the histrionic left may be giving McCain a little too much credit here.

I'm not saying noone has, but I just haven't seen it.
