NP: Heat vs. Bulls

This happened the other night on the ESPN game I was bitching about as well, but what is it with these announcers' disdain for taking charges? Didn't that used to be a sign of good defense? The color guy on this game was saying how much he didn't like one charge call even though he admitted it was the right call.

And I hate the media narrative about how Luol Deng was the subject of so many trade rumors this year, because it's entirely one-sided. I don't think John Paxson ever actually considered dealing Deng, but because other teams were asking for him, everyone acted like both sides were complicit in the rumor-mongering.

UPDATE: Fifteen minutes isn't enough padding for an NBA game. Missed the final 18.4 seconds, but the Bulls managed to hang on. Luol Deng is a stud.
