NP: Rage Against The Machine, Rage Against The Machine

I was talking with a friend last week about the mainstream media, and how so many Americans don't even realize that sometimes they're being manipulated and/or lied to, whether its because of a trusting nature, laziness, time constraints, or memories of a time when the news was the news, and not a P&L center for a large corporation.

Anyway, I found this piece on the Britannica Blog that is basically an expansion on the classic newsman quote that gets paraphrased in the article, "if your mother says she loves you, check it out."

Words to live by.
