Manage versus Transform

NP: John Cage, 4'33"

Andrew Sullivan makes a great point in his ongoing dialog about Hillary Clinton:

"Do we need to manage the current mess or try and transform it? The former is a rationale for the Clinton candidacy; the latter is the rationale for Obama's. Alas, no Republican so far appears capable of doing either."

As someone who votes not-Republican, this is a pretty good choice to have. It's not style versus substance -- it's two competent, competing visions of leadership.

Which isn't to say I'm abandoning hope for an independent candidate. There just isn't one to talk about yet.

I'm just so glad that you're finally referencing sites like Andrew Sullivan and TPM instead of Kos.
