An Economist's View of Terrorism

Cross-discipline is where it's at. Levitt discusses terrorism in such a refreshing, apolitical way that it's sure to infuriate exactly the kind of people who deserve to be infuriated and subsequently left out of the debate.

To his original point, I was astonished at the level of fear, nationwide, after the sniper shootings. I seem to recall a poll in which a majority of Americans was worried they might be next.
