The Cure For What Ails You

NP: John Cage, 4'33"

I've been feeling particularly burned out this week, in a way that's nearly drowning me in pessimism about mostly everything. I may break the unofficial "no navel-gazing" rule and say more about that later. But anyway, a solid effort playing soccer last night, and probably the decent night's sleep the night before, seem to have righted the ship. Adrenaline and sweat always seem good for me in terms of purging.

The best moment from the game last night was getting an arm into a guy as he tried to jump for a header, effectively grounding him and kind of pissing him off. It felt like a "real" soccer play, from a defensive standpoint. Could have done better with the two shots off the post, though.
