Goodbye To That Guy Whose Name I Could Never Remember

NP: Real Madrid vs. Barcelona

Some background is in order. A couple of years ago, I would go on and on about how I wanted to get into broadcasting with the Chicago Fire. In particular, I sort of coveted Chris Doran's job -- doing radio when the team was in Naperville, and then sideline reporting for Comcast SportsNet. So the running joke was that I was going to "go Tonya Harding on him" to take him out of the picture.

This always led to Jeff Gilooly, and then we'd always get stuck on who the other guy was, the one that Chris Farley played in the Saturday Night Live sketch.

Well, it was Brian Sean Griffith, and he died last week. So goodbye Brian, we quite literally hardly knew ye.
