I've been saying something like this since at least the time the original article was published. Possibly before, if you unpack those third-party votes in 1992 and 1996.
The current revision should point out that Gen X is approaching 40, so you've got both the new young voters and the "old" young voters like myself.
If there's anything that crystallizes why I like Obama in this race, it's that he is, quite literally, the first candidate who has ever articulated anything even in the ballpark of what it is that I think about politics, and he's actually come much closer than that.
