NP: Mr. Bungle, Mr. Bungle
Sullivan cites Peggy Noonan's assessment of the Obamas and race, and the passage Sullivan quotes raises one singular question. Have either Peggy Noonan or Andrew Sullivan ever been to, say, the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago? Just because neither of these pundits see this side of life regularly doesn't mean it's not real.
My thoughts exactly when I read that on Sullivan's blog, abeit not with Englewood as my exact mental example.
I also like how he calls Noonan a "Reagan Democrat". Whatever. He's always had a blindspot for all things Peggy.
