NP: Arsenal vs. Chelsea

I can sort of relate to this article, as I now have three direct reports, and all of them are "friends" on Facebook. That said, they were friended as colleagues before I became their boss, and being on Facebook doesn't have much of a stigma around our office, considering that we're figuring out how to approach advertising on the platform. I do wonder if they self-censor knowing I'm there, though.

Personally, I try to be the same person online and off, and have tried to maintain that all the way back from my USENET days, so I'm not really worried. I do occasionally catch myself wanting to share too much -- I've deleted status updates after thinking better of it -- but that may have been directed elsewhere.
