Live, from New York, it's Thursday morning.

The plan today was to wait in line for The Daily Show, because I had read on Billboard that Coldplay would be performing, a story they stuck with as late as Tuesday. Seeing as how I'm on vacation, I haven't been checking all my mailing lists as regularly as I would otherwise.

Including my Daily Show newsletter. Which pointed out that Coldplay was on the show yesterday. And I actually turned down an offer for a ticket to watch the Euro match at a bar, although getting the ticket and getting to the studio on time once my sister had gotten the call from her friend would have been damn near impossible.

The plan is still to get up early to see the band -- and it's not even like I'm a huge fan or anything -- on The Today Show tomorrow morning. On the plus side, I figure there will be less of a standby line for Ted Koppel.
