I think Obama should wait until after the convention to announce his Vice President, if only to make more people in the media and the blogosphere twitchy. This is getting fun to watch, and fits into an overall pattern of the junior Senator from my state bucking conventional wisdom every chance he gets. Pundits hate that, because conventional wisdom is why they all still have jobs.
