Hackers go after the Large Hadron Collider, and are reported to have been "one step away" from gaining control of it's central system.
Look, I can live with -- okay, poor choice of words -- scientists accidentally sucking us into a black hole, but draw the line at having the fate of the universe decided by Matthew Broderick.
