Sullivan points to some questionable polling that Fox and Drudge are currently touting, but his focusing on their cherry-picking seems to miss the point. If there's one strategic move left in the GOP bag of tricks, it's convincing voters that it will, in fact, be a blowout, and that Obama supporters should stay home because their vote doesn't matter any more.

I guess that the conventional wisdom is that undecided voters break to the national averages, so they're playing it that way. Except that there aren't enough undecided voters left to overcome the deficit in both party identification and independents. So they're even getting their misreading of information backwards, which is why they're going to lose.
