I wonder, would Obama have picked Ken Salazar for his cabinet if Saxby Chambliss had lost Georgia? Granted, the Senate seat will stay on the Democratic side for at least two years, but I do wonder if long-term gaming of the Senate chamber factors into Obama's cabinet picks at all.
