If you're still not sure about our President-Elect's judgment, consider that he left Chicago for Hawaii exactly one day before temperatures plummeted to the single digits, and that's without the wind chill. Very shrewd.
For those of us poor schlubs who mistimed their holiday travel by a day or two, it's all about the layers. And the very nice new pair of boots I picked up yesterday. I was hoping I wouldn't have to dig my car out before taking public transportation to the airport tomorrow, but it was not meant to be. Fortunately, I was actually able to get my car doors open, as they tend to freeze shut even in milder conditions than these.
