Out With The Old

NP: The Cure, 4:13 Dream

I may ramble more later about what has been a remarkably eventful year, but for now, I'm just hoping my car lives to see 2009. On the way back from Vaughan's last night, it started shaking while I was stopped, and then the "Check Engine" light blinked all the way home.

Not very promising. I did not check the engine, as the fact that the car was moving led me to believe that it was, in fact, an engine. Now the good folks at Lawrence & Ashland are having a look -- the light at least wasn't blinking on the way over -- and hopefully any repairs won't be above my "not worth it anymore" threshold. I sort of need the car to last me another two or three years if I'm going to buy a condo in 2009, which is the current plan.

Did I make a New Year's resolution to post more personal stuff? Not quite sure yet, but maybe.
