How To Be An Influential Wuss

NP: John Cage, 4'33"

I guess you can't say David Brooks is lacking conviction. Sort of.

We moderates are going to have to assert ourselves. We’re going to have to take a centrist tendency that has been politically feckless and intellectually vapid and turn it into an influential force.

While he does give that more context, it's still pretty funny. It's not that it's been perceived as feckless and vapid. He's pretty much saying that moderates have been feckless and vapid, and have to turn that somehow into a positive.

Comments

Oh. I thought the funny part was that he thinks he's a moderate or a centrist.
