NP: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
The Huffington Post has both a transcript and the video of Jon Stewart, quite frankly, owning Bill Kristol on health care. I'm struck by the peculiar way that pundits and politicians -- I won't say right-wing pundits and politicians, as the left may very well do the same thing -- will say something, then almost immediately say that they didn't say what they just said.

Which brings us to Sarah Palin, and the absolutely brilliant idea from Conan O'Brien to have William Shatner read her resignation speech over acoustic bass and bongos. I suspect any leftovers from Jay Leno's audience didn't get that, either, but it's the very definition of wit versus just plain old comedy.
