The Struggles Continue
NP: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
Proving the closing out games isn't the Cubs' only problem, now manager Lou Piniella can't even seal the deal on getting a jaywalking ticket as well as his crosstown rivals. Can't wait to hear what Ozzie Guillen has to say about this one, seeing how amused he was at his boss' ticket.
On a personal note, this is good to know about San Diego, since my brother lives there and I'm inclined to visit. And also inclined to jaywalk. Seattle freaks me the fuck out for this very reason, as people stand at traffic lights where there isn't even a hint of traffic and just wait for the light to change. It's creepy.
