A Crack In The Facade?

NP: Genesis, Selling England By The Pound

Michael Scherer points to an article he co-wrote for Time that looks like it could hold some significance in the investigation of the previous administration's use of torture. This is just a hunch on my part, and it might still just be a matter of, say, Steven Bradbury's word versus that of Congress, but with several members of Congress disagreeing with what went down in the briefing -- including John McCain -- it feels like there's a bit more heft to this.

On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure how one man's interpretation of the "tone" in the room might put a target on his back if Eric Holder starts working up the food chain. Again, just a hunch.
