Is "Double" Statistically Significant?

NP: John Cage, 4'33"

I think maybe Nate Silver is bored, because this is a more thorough examination of fast food "nutrition" in light of the new KFC Double Down than I would have thought possible. And now let's all say it together -- that's some real "food for thought!"

I am slightly surprised at the total calories, though. If you didn't get any sides, and were somewhat more careful with your other meals, you could almost justify it. On a similar note, I have seen one blog post about this -- can't remember where -- that points out how uncontroversial this would be if you served the exact same thing on a bun. Then it's just a double chicken sandwich with bacon.
