Ground Game vs. Air War, continued

Hey, is this thing still on?

Andrew Sullivan posted this interesting chart almost two weeks ago, and I think it's relevant to the last thing I said here, some six months ago. I feel like the GOP sorta got their butts kicked on the ground game in 2008, so I'm surprised that they seem to think the solution is to leverage Super PACs, if these numbers (and the original author's interpretation) are any indication.

You might also argue that the actual game of the ground game may have changed in the face of new voter ID laws, but there's at least some anecdotal evidence that the Democrats are responding to that.
