Attack of the Lazy Rock Critic

I have to wonder if Dave McKenna got caught in traffic on his way to the Curiosa festival. His review in today's Washington Post makes it sound like he clearly didn't want to be there at all, so he probably missed the eight or nine other acts on the bill.

I know most music writers bring a bucketful of biases into their work, and if he doesn't care for The Cure, that's fine. But as a multi-act tour in the current industry climate, the climate that killed the overly ambitious Lollapalooza, don't you think the bill merits some mention aside from a throwaway line about how long the fans had been there?
