Flattery Is The Sincerest Form Of Imitation

I was reading on Coolfer that the Brits are all going crazy about The Bravery, so I grabbed the three or four tracks on Rhapsody to see what the fuss is about.

Can someone explain to me how this band is any different from The Killers? Are they an improvement on the form in some way that I'm not sophisticated enough to understand? Or is it just that NME would like The Killers more if they were from Britain instead of Las Vegas?

Seriously, even the vocals seem to be processed the exact same way. It's eerie.
